Stories, style and more. Tips on pregnancy and postpartum
life plus navigating modern Motherhood.
The early days of motherhood are a lot. The fourth trimester is one of growth, change and syncing new rhythms with this new person in your life. You're learning to speak each other's language and decipher wants and needs, but the indisputable common ground is milk – breast or formula – and the sharing of this milk is one of the first moments of connection between you and your baby.
Perfecting this connection and finding the balance that suits you both will take time and it's important to surrender to the process. This month, we're celebrating World Breastfeeding Week, and no matter how long you breastfeed for, knowing what our bodies are capable of is truly incredible.
Here's to all the mamas who've stuck with it, who've gone the distance, who've made the choice not to or had to stop for reasons outside their control. This week, and every week, make “well fed” your mantra and leave the stress at the door.
