What began as a conversation between founders Valerie Darragh and Sabina Melarti it turned out, they both been frustrated by the nonexistence of chic and practical pregnancy support garments, and so had assembled their own, led to the creation of the first-ever all-in-one seamless support with the Bodystyler maternity support tank.

If they had both needed it, they reasoned, surely other pregnant women did, too. And so, from sourcing manufacturers to writing a patent, creating graphics to forming a Fortune 500-filled advisory board, the BLANQI brand came to be. Today, BLANQI's signature styler sells at retailers including Bare Necessities, Target, and A Pea in the Pod. It has been featured in People, Pregnancy, Newborn, and Jezebel, and is favored by industry influencers including Molly Sims and Nina Garcia. BLANQI is currently working on a diffusion line with a major retailer, available in April 2013.
